  • Ci sono stato per la prima volta un giovedì di dicembre, eravamo in 4, poca gente nel locale per cui serviti e riveriti a dovere. Personale gentile, simpatico e preparato. Bagni puliti. Abbiamo preso un misto di polentine fritte con gorgonzola, pancetta, crema di tartufo scaglie di parmigiano e giardiniera poi abbiamo preso una "bombetta di riso al tartufo" ( con stracciatella, fonduta di parmigiano e sopra un prosciutto cotto che non ricordo la provenienza)...S P E T T A C O L A R E. Come secondo abbiamo preso del salume misto buono in particolare merita una menzione particolare il crudo di Parma, davvero buono per nulla salato nonostante la stagionatura importante, poi due bocce di Sangiovese biologico, acqua i dolci caffè e amari il tutto x 55€. Torneremo sicuramente.

  • Well, yes 5 oo 5 with no doubt at all! But let's do a bit of order. Firstly, location: very impressive, few kms from nearby cities but still in the heart of Parma's mountains. You will find yourself surrounded by green forests and lovely peaks. Furthermore, you are gonna find a large parking just a few steps from the restaurant. Secondly, service: waiters are kind, fast and always ready to explain you what you could be asking for. Third, food: you can find many dishes from local tradition with starters, first and second dishes, desserts and so on with a large variety of flavors. So... It's definitely a huge yes. Just take the time to give a call and book a table cause it's usually a bit crowded, especially during weekends

  • Absolutely love this place. At the traditional restaurant you can find the tastiest mushrooms and truffles in the area. Definitely try the fried truffles, ask for a platter of salumi, and sip on the fizzy red Lambrusco wine from the house. I also recommend always checking the off-menu dishes that vary by season and are definitely worth trying. The interior is cosy and always filled with locals. In the summer there is an outdoors area in the shade and with a breeze, and in the winter the traditional restaurant has a covered terrace with heating. The owners are genuine, friendly and offer a great service. Don't forget booking a table in advance.

Locanda di Marzolara, tu sei il mio rifugio, nel tuo abbraccio di sapori, ho trovato il mio refugio. La Locanda di Marzolara è un gioiello della cucina emiliana, un luogo dove tradizione e qualità si incontrano in ogni piatto. Le paste fatte in casa, dai tortelli alle tagliatelle, sono un trionfo di sapori autentici, mentre i secondi, come il classico cotechino o lo stracotto, raccontano la passione per la cucina di una volta. Ambiente accogliente e personale caloroso rendono l’esperienza indimenticabile. Perfetto per chi cerca la vera Emilia nel piatto. Assolutamente consigliato!
